The Company Project from Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria, VA is the annual youth dance company showcase. It features the pre-professional dancers of iMpulse, MYTE, and dynaMYTE. This high-energy performance combines original choreography, expressive storytelling, and dynamic movement. Each piece highlights the skill, artistry, and dedication of our students.
This year’s Company Project, Virtuoso, is a commercial dance showcase filled with rhythm, creativity, and unforgettable stage presence. Audiences will enjoy an exciting evening of tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater. Our pre-professional dancers embody the true meaning of a virtuoso: an artist with exceptional technique, passion, and musicality.
Choreographed by MSA’s artistic directors and nationally recognized guest choreographers, each piece celebrates the power of music. The show highlights the beat, rhythm, and movement that connect us all. Virtuoso is more than a performance. It is a celebration of youth talent, artistic excellence, and the vibrant energy of young performers in Alexandria, VA and the greater Northern Virginia community.
