Most importantly, PLEASE LABEL all clothes, shoes, bags and personal belongings with your student’s name and leave expensive electronics and other valuables at home. Metropolitan is not responsible for lost or misplaced property.
To provide the most professional experience for your children, the faculty of Metropolitan will strictly enforce dress code attire beginning the third week of classes. Proper apparel and shoes allow students to safely perform the skills taught in class and permit teachers to observe their form and make any necessary corrections. All students must have their hair in a classical ballet bun to participate in ballet class. A $5 bun kit will be provided and charged to the account on file if a student attends ballet class without a proper bun. Hair must be worn off the neck and out of the face for all other classes.
Where a Required Style is listed, students must wear that specific item. Where a Preferred Style is listed, students may wear that specific item or another similar item fitting the description. Where no style is listed, students may wear their choice of apparel/shoes fitting the description.
