For the serious student interested in pursuing music theater at the professional or university level.

This program is designed to give you the tools and practical knowledge to enter the professional music theater arena with confidence. Our program places a heavy emphasis on audition preparation to give you all the tools you need to nail your audition for the nation’s most selective universities or professional experiences.

Class

The Music Theater Workshop class is a one hour, conservatory style class.

Performance

Music Theater Workshop students have the opportunity to share their work each week, and therefore, do not focus on a final year end performance.

Co-requisite and audition

Students must be enrolled in a private voice lesson at Metropolitan School of the Arts, and must be accepted into the program by a successful audition. Auditions are held in September for the corresponding school year.
