Sara graduated from NYU with a Bachelors in Music and continued her career in NYC for several years. She is a proud member of Actors Equity and was most recently in a performance conducted by Marvin Hamlisch at Lincoln Center. She began her professional career as a performer, dance captain, and choreographer at Hersheypark (in her hometown). Sara has performed at the Goodspeed Opera House in CT, where she was the assistant director as well as a member of the ensemble in High Button Shoes.  Other regional credits include: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (assistant dir., dance capt., & Martha) at Goodspeed, The Wizard of Oz (assistant dir., dance capt., and Ensemble) at North Carolina Theatre,Mame (Ensemble) at Northshore Music Theatre, Ain’t Misbehavin’ (assistant dir./chor.) at Dallas Theatre Center & Cape Playhouse, Pirates of Penzance (assistant dir./chor.) at Virginia Opera, and Off Broadway’s Great American Trailerpark Musical workshop (assistant chor.) in NYC.  Sara also served as assistant choreographer for Ringley Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Greatest Show on Earth in 2006.  Recently, she traveled to Michigan State University to recreate Randy Skinner’s choreography for Babes in Arms and has enjoyed returning to her alma mater to choreograph 110 in the Shade and The Merry Widow.   Sara is happy to be sharing her passion for the arts with all of her students and colleagues at Metropolitan School of the Arts.
