Heather Gifford has been a music faculty member at MSA since 2013.  She is originally from Alexandria, VA, and graduated from James Madison University, earning a Bachelor Degree in Music Industry, with a concentration in Vocal Performance.  After graduating, she performed and traveled for 10+ years: Harrah’s, Las Vegas: Legends in Concert (singer/dancer); Tropicana, Atlantic City: Havana After Dark (lead singer); Holland America Cruise Line: (lead singer); Main Street Theater, Myrtle Beach: Tribute in Concert (singer/dancer). She has also served as Entertainment Manager for various artistic programs at the Venetian/Palazzo and Planet Hollywood Resorts in Las Vegas, as well as Event and Entertainment Coordinator at Gaylord National.  She has been Music Director for ACCT: Seussical the Musical, Guys and Dolls. Heather enjoys performing locally when time allows: Keegan Theater: Chicago (Annie/Velma us); LTA: Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndam). She is honored to currently serve as the Music Chair at the Academy, where she is able to share her love of the performing arts with the students at MSA, and encourage the next generation of performers.
