Christy is an Aerobics & Fitness Association of America-certified Group Fitness Instructor. She holds a specialty certification in cardio kickboxing, as well as licenses in Zumba® and PiYo Strength®. Christy enjoys teaching a variety of group exercise formats, including yoga, Pilates, Zumba®, kickboxing, boot camp, circuit training, strength training, and her most recent venture, metroBarre! Christy is also committed to encouraging physical fitness in children and teens. She has served as both a youth soccer and basketball coach, as well as volunteered with an elementary school running club. Additionally, Christy teaches weekly group exercise classes specially designed for teenagers. Christy is thrilled to be a part of the Metro fitness staff, and currently teaches metroBarre on Sundays and Thursdays at the Fairfax Station studio.
