Carrie Haynes

Carrie has been dancing since the tender age of three and believes dance is an integral part of life. As a writer, dancer, and designer, creativity is at the core of everything she does. Her whimsical bent makes her a natural with kids and her improvisational teaching style cultivates the imagination above all else. Carrie studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts in her teens and performed with the Dance Company of Virginia Tech while in college. Carrie has been teaching for nearly 16 years now and strives to instill a lifelong love of the arts in every child. Her classes provide a memorable first exploration into the world of dance through a hybrid of the specially designed curriculum of the Royal Academy of Dance and the American Academy of Ballet. Students learn the fundamentals of movement in a fun, nurturing environment utilizing delightful music and animated storytelling. Learn more about Carrie at ballerinagirlparties.com.
