PRE-PROFESSIONAL INTENSIVES: full day intensives for ages 9+ with prior dance experience.

BALLET INTENSIVE: WEEK ONE

DIRECTOR: Lesley Shearer

This program is an exhilarating in-depth ballet intensive for serious and dedicated dance students taught by MSA faculty and guest teachers. This program will empower and challenge students to improve their technical proficiency and execution of classical ballet, modern and contemporary. Daily technique classes will be offered in ballet, pointe, classical repertoire, Pilates, partnering and character dance. This is a great way to build a pathway toward your pre-professional ballet aspirations with the Metropolitan Youth Ballet company! Nutcracker audition preparation will be included.

BALLET STUDENTS are strongly encouraged to take Week One AND Week Two as they will compliment each other.

Times: 9:00am-4:00pm
Eligibility: Ages 9+ who have completed one year of Ballet 2+ at MSA
(Placement class required for Non-MSA students)
Tuition $500/week
Multi Intensive Tuition (4 or more weeks per student): $475/week
