Important to know before coming to the studio In-Person classes:

The CDC recently revised their metrics for determining community COVID-19 levels.  Under this new guidance, the COVID-19 community level for Fairfax County is “Low.” At this level, the CDC recommends people stay up-to-date with their vaccines and be tested if they have any COVID-like symptoms.  In addition, people “with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.”  All others may “choose to mask at any time.”

In accordance with the current CDC guidance for low community COVID-19 levels, effective Monday, February 28, 2022, Metropolitan School of the Arts will begin allowing our community members to choose whether they will be masked or not while onsite, with some exceptions.  Masks must still be worn:

  • when onsite at MSA or in attendance of any MSA event during days 6-10 of a quarantine or isolation period.

  • when exhibiting symptoms or following known exposure to a positive COVID-19 case. (Please note that ill individuals should stay home.)

Should our community COVID-19 levels rise to medium or high, more widespread masking policies and guidelines may go back into effect.

We are optimistic as we enter this new phase of a pandemic but understand that the rapidly changing nature of pandemic can result in challenging and conflicting feelings.  We ask that all members of our community continue to treat one another with respect and support, acknowledging that each individual may have different needs and reasons behind their masking choices during this period.

Booking classes on MINDBODY
Online reservations must be made one hour prior to class as space limited for In-Person classes.  We need this time to send out an email with the ZOOM information.  All participants who sign-up for class, both In-Person and Virtual, will receive this email.  If you sign up for class but can’t make it for some reason, please cancel your class at least ONE HOUR prior to start time; otherwise you will be charged for the class. If you forget to cancel, you may request a recording of the class to do at a more convenient time in your schedule.  Recordings will expire in 3 days. We look forward to seeing you in the studio or on ZOOM

Can’t make it to class? Request a recording!
If our fitness schedule doesn’t line up with your schedule but you would still like to take one of our classes at a more convenient time, you can request a RECORDING of the class. All you have to do is sign-up for the class you would like to take and then reply to the email sent out with the Zoom information requesting the recording. The instructor will send it to you shortly after the class is finished. Recordings will be good for 3 days before they expire.
