learning doesn’t end after the bell rings
Are you looking for a well-rounded after school program for your child that includes arts education, social time with friends, safe and supervised activates AND time to do homework? Look no further!
This one of a kind after school program provides a well-rounded curriculum centered on the arts for students in grades K-6. Your child is immersed in music, dance, theater and yoga in a supportive and holistic environment. Our faculty believes that every child is special, and it’s our passion to guide them to grow and express their individual selves, while learning to embrace the diversity of those around them. MetroClub members are encouraged to use the arts as a creative outlet, as an individual, and as a part of their community.
When the school bell rings, MetroClub begins! We pick up your child in our MetroVan and safely transport them from their school to MSA Alexandria. While your child is at MetroClub, they will enjoy snack time, free-play time, performing arts time, and study time. By the time you pick them up all you will need to take care of is dinnertime and bedtime. Best of all, your child is already at the studio for those early evening dance classes and music lessons, giving you the early afternoon flexibility you need!
We have limited spots available for the 2017-2018 school year at Hayfield, Island Creek, and Lane elementary schools. Students are picked up by our MetroVan at dismissal every day and care is provided at MSA Alexandria until 6:00 p.m. Tuition for the 2017-2018 school year is $85 per child per week, billed on the first of every month. A $50 registration fee plus 2 weeks tuition deposit (applied to June 2018 payment) is due when registering a student for MetroClub. Click here for full MetroClub calendar details
Facilities: MetroClub uses the studios at MSA for weekly dance, yoga and occasional other activities. Homework and free play activities occur at the Church of the Spirit, located in the same building, where we rent several large recreation rooms which comfortably accommodate our group.
