Metropolitan represents the best of both worlds: a large scale dance and performing arts studio that has world class faculty and high quality facilities AND a small intimate studio where all the staff and faculty know and actually care about the students. We remain in awe of how “Miss Melissa” can keep track of each and every student and take a personal interest in their individual success.  We see it as a shared journey to excellence that is refreshing in this day and age.  Our daughters both think all the staff at Metropolitan are rock stars.  And they both look forward to the start of school each September because it also means the start of a new dance year.  We will be with MFAC for years to come… –Lee M.

This will be my daughter’s eighth year studying at Metropolitan.  I still have a photo of her on the day of her very first dance class. I keep it in eye’s view at work because her excitement is still palpable today.  As she begins her eighth year still exhibits the same enthusiasm now coupled with a true work ethic, commitment, and genuine love for her dance studies.  The teachers she has been fortunate to work with have instilled those qualities in her and I’m ever grateful. –Nancy G.

My daughter has been dancing at Metropolitan for 10 years.  We love the studio and most especially the wonderful ballet classes and phenomenal teachers.  The highlight of the dance year is performing in “The Nutcracker.” I truly believe Metropolitan has the best ballet program in the Washington, D.C. area. –Debbie B.
